Terms
- Order online or contact me to arrange for payment - by credit card, PayPal.com, or invoice.
- Quick Start Webs - Payment: 50% due prior to start of project, balance due upon completion.
- Web site maintenance (Optional) - Fees can be billed monthly, semi-annually, or annually.
- Hosting - The Typepad hosting fee, typically $14.95 a month (or $149.00 annually), is paid directly to TypePad. I'll assist you in setting up your hosting account at which time you can pay by credit card.
- URL (Domain) - Purchase of a domain is highly recommended, but not required. Domains can be purchased from companies such as goDaddy. If you already own a domain, I'll "map the domain" to TypePad. Access to the company that hosts your existing domain will be necessary for this process.
- Widgets - The WidgetBox fee, typically $3.99 a month (or $25.00 annually), is paid directly to WidgetBox. I'll assist you in setting up your WidgetBox account at which time you can pay by credit card.
- Creative product - You'll be the owner of all original graphics produced by Webs That Sell, LLC for your project.
- Third party vendor - Your Website will be hosted by TypePad, a third party vendor. Webs That Sell, LLC is not responsible for any service interruptions, data breaches or other errors associated with or caused by TypePad. You must agree to TypePad's Terms of Service.
- eCommerce and online donations - You're responsible for complying with applicable laws concerning sales tax, VAT, receiving donations, and donation receipts. Please consult with your accounting and legal professionals about these issues.
- Copyrighted materials - You're responsible for complying with all U.S. Copyright and Fair Use laws. Articles, photos, videos, and other media should not be published on your Website unless you own the materials or have written permission from the owner to use them.
- Clip art, stock photos, fonts - You're responsible for the purchase of any clip art, stock photos, or special fonts used on your Website.
- Privacy - Webs That Sell, LLC never sells or lends client email lists or client data.
- Satisfaction - Your satisfaction comes first at Webs That Sell, LLC. If you're not satisfied, for any reason, prior to the completion of your Quick Start Web development project, your payment and any pre-paid maintenance fees will be refunded. TypePad has a very fair refund policy, as well. I hope you'll be thrilled with your new Quick Start Web...testimonials are always welcome!
